The Prague on Queen Street re-opened

Nicely updated menu with so many great choices! Completely renovated eating and bar area looks nice although a little bit strange with the tables lined up against the side wall. They moved the deli counter to the back of the space which used to be the closed-off kitchen and the selection looked as nicely updated as the menu.

Looking forward to having lunch there tomorrow!!

Unfortunately I only discovered it was open after I had bought a crappy, salty, over-priced slice of pepperoni pizza from Brooklyn. I don't get why the slices need to be soooooo small except maybe to keep your sodium intake in check!

I like the new Prague. I've bought a few things from the deli and was pretty happy - I liked both their smoked lappi and smoked salmon. Went for brunch with a friend and the new menu pretty much seems to be a variation of the old menu. I had their version of eggs benny where the english muffin was replaced by pierogies (pretty good) and my friend had cabbage rolls that came with a large piece of pork on top (better!). I've actually been pleasantly surprised overall; I think they're trying hard to keep things consistent with the food from before while updating the space. I think it's strange that you have to pay at the bar though. It would be nice to be able to pay for deli items in the back; maybe they'll do that eventually.

Happy to here the Prague is back! I was worried it was one of those renovations that turn the place to something completely different. Let us know what lunch is like tomorrow.

Well it is completely different...looking. The old charm is long gone unfortunately.

Here's hoping they respect the tradition of the food preparation.
