envy apples

i found these at foodland liliha, and they are the best apples i have ever eaten. crisp and an aggresively sweet taste, with almost a light honey finish.

apparently they are a cross between braeburn and royal gala apples, and come from new zealand.

anyone else tried these?

they also don't brown quickly after they're exposed to air.

no, but now that you mention them I think i'll go find some and have a try. sounds good. best apples I ever had were at the morning market one crisp spring morning in takayama, japan.
