Best fried chicken in Chicago!

Hello all,

My husband's birthday is next week and he wants to eat the best fried chicken in Chicago. We need a restaurant where we can go and sit with family (it's either fried chicken or Les Nomades!). Please let me know if you have any ideas!

The broasted chicken at Marcello's Father and Son on W North Ave is great. My personal favorite is the Garlic Oregano Broasted. There is zero ambience, but the food is very good. The rest of the menu is pizza, pasta, family restaurant at its best.

I like Popeye's but really, fried chicken or Les Nomades? How is that even a choice? Go to Les Nomades!!

Art Smith's Table 52 in the Gold Coast neighborhood is known for excellent fried chicken; it also has an upscale ambiance, so worthy of a special occasion.

Thanks so much, but unfortunately they don't serve fried chicken on Thursday nights! (Not even for a special occasion.)
