good restaurant in bridgeport ct?

Will be in Bridgeport one night in Sept on business with several colleagues and need a nice spot for dinner that serves alcohol. Any favorites? Thanks.

    Barnum Publick House

Wide variety of food offerings plus a full bar and some decent bottled beer choices. Walkable distance from your hotel.

O'manel - terrific Portugese food. Huge portions.....reasonable prices (and where else can you get a bottle of wine for $14 in a restaurant!).
        Also second Epernay Bistro

If you're in downtown, agreed on the Ralph n Rich's - you really can't go wrong here. It's a bigger place, somewhat loud, but if you're looking at have a good meal and some wine/cocktails, then it's a solid choice.

Another option in downtown is Epernay. A little more quiet, decent wine list. Drinks here as well.

Pizza - Two Boots. Def more casual.

Also agree on Joseph's. It's an authentic NY steak place, a la carte, and on the more expensive side. So if you're expensing this meal...who cares! Great grilled bacon and Porterhouse.

Bridgeport has many choices, do you want Steak, Italian, Portugese/Brazilian?
          Steak> Joseph's
          Italian> Ralph and Rich's
          Brazilian-Terra Brasilis

and if you have a car MANY good choices in Fairfield (next town west) or Milford (2 towns east)

We're from RI, so Italian better be good. We are a mixed bag, have a non-red meat eater, some non-adventurous folks, and, while we have a car, the boss doesn't want to stray too far from the Holiday Inn.

Then Ralph and Rich's is the choice.
Loads of Italo-Americans in southern CT, so they won't hold being from Rhode Isaland against you. Thsi is not the bad Italian found in the hinterlands., but honest to goodness GOOD food.

If you don't want to stray too far from the Hotel Motel Holiday Inn (and you probably shouldn't) just make rezzies at Ralph n Rich's.

If you do want to just jump on 95S, head to Paci in Southport (exit 19), not too far.
