Best Grill Pan for Electric Coil Stove top???

I want to purchase a grill pan for indoor grilling. Alton Brown recommends cast iron with a removable handle, but I can't find one one like he uses on Amazon.com. I am looking at buying the Lodge Pro-Logic Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron 12-Inch Square Grill Pan.

Any opinions on this? I see people use grill pans on TV all the time, but they are always on a gas stovetop. What is best for electric coil stovetops?

I use it as a panini pan and I've used on electric coil stove top at my old place.

I'm personally not a fan of grill pans, but it serves it's purpose for me as a panini pan.
