Does anyone know what happened to Café D'Azur in Darien CT?

I posted this earlier today and it was removed for some reason (it doesn't violate any terms that I read). So I'm reposting. Does anyone know whey they went out of business? I loved this place and didn't see this coming.

I'd gotten an email from Myrna that they'd closed, which is such a shame, and so we took a chance today and drove down to Stamford (1234 E Main Street) and found that they are now in a hole in the wall. There is no seating, it is takeout only, well except for a pair of chairs at a table just inside the door. We didn't even bother going in because the chairs were taken and there is no way I just drove an hour, only to eat in the car. It was so disappointing as we had loved Cafe D'Azur.

I heard they now run a deli on Route 1 in Stamford, just east of Darien, just across the street from WWE. I think Beverage Barn is the name of the liquor store just next door. They've still got crepes on the menu.

Thanks, I really love their felafel wraps and hope they still have the same ones available.

I think I saw that on the menu, too. I had the gyro, which was great.

I recently read that Bodega Taco Bar (same owners as Valencia Luncheria, Norwalk & Bodega Taco Bar in Fairfield) was to be moving into that space.

She was not doing well there. She opened a a take-out place in Darien called Myrna's Kitchen, check out the on oline menu! I bet the food is good.

Ah, ok. I definitely will. I loved Myrna's when she was in Stamford and followed them to Darien. I didn't know they had a take out place. I'll definitely be there, thanks.
