Sampan for Restaurant Week?

I usually avoid RW like the plague, but we have some friends who want to go out, so we're going to give it a shot. They wanted to go to Amada, but they are already booked. I have always wanted to try Sampan, so that was my recommendation. Has anyone been there during RW and is it worth it?

For Restaurant Week it was pretty good though I enjoyed it more straight up. (Hate the packed scene.) The good thing was that we got to order off the regular menu, always a plus during RW. That meant that they didn't have plates set up and painfully waiting to be served. Good Luck!

Best place for RW, Imo. You get their normal 45 dollar tasting for 10 off.

Good to know. Do you get to pick, or does the kitchen just send out dishes? If the kitchen sends out, does everyone get the same or different dishes?
