I'm currently deployed to afghanistan but Im making a list of places i want to eat when i get home in december. Unfortunately i'm the foodie in my family (rest of the fam isnt that adventuous) and i LOVE sushi.... which brings me to the point of this post.
Im planning on going to LB and wondering what are chow's most popular dishes. Im a big fan of yellowtail and tuna as well as a good california roll.
Also, I wanted to try some sake. i know what it is - i just need to know which ones to gravitate toward. I like more fruity flavors and maybe a bit on the more mild side since it will be my first time. any suggestions ??
thanks and stay hungry my friends
Bless you for your service as well. I would agree with the other two posters recs. I lived in Vegas for 10 years well before the palms was even built but have been back for work many times and stayed right a cross the from Palms. You know the extended stay that had the guy cooking Ricin in his room:)
Little Buddah is a great looking restaurant ...think goth meets eastern religion. The best roll I had there was their Spicy albacore and yellow tail roll. If your single great eye candy... if not still a very sexy vibe to the place.
I also have good sushi at Mizumi at the Wynn. Sushi bar only never sat at a table.
God Bless you Adam for your service!!!
Raku gets lots of love on the Vegas board.
Lotus of Siam is off the chain good for the best Thai..order off the menu..lunch or dinner near LV Hilton in a divey strip mall.
Is there a APO address that us Chowhounds can send you goodies ?
