Need to find a place to buy bushels of fresh littleneck clams in Edison, NJ

Hi Everyone,

I love seafood and have been looking for a great place to get my hands on bushels of fresh littleneck or topneck clams. I cannot seam to find anyplace around the Edison Area that offers this up. I know of a place called Fish World in New Brunswick but the number that is provided (732) -227 - 0100 is for supercuts. there is no other number listed which is strange. Can anyone tell me a great place with great prices to buy about 100 - 150 clams at a time? Any feedback would be great.

H Mart on Rt 27, Kam Man supermarket on Rt 1, and Asian Food Center off Stelton in South Plainfield generally have clams available. You can also try Westfield Seafood, the gentleman who works there goes up to Fulton Market every morning and knows a lot about local seafood, I'm sure he could help you out.

Belford's Seafood Co-op was just listed in the newspaper as well as the news, as the freshest place to buy your seafood...they also have a restaurant. It has a nice view, and is directly on the water.(Belford is in Middletown) Hope that helps,

Any Chinese supermarket will sell by the bushel if given advance notice

I would try asking at the fish counter at H-Mart. They may take a special order for you, or point you in the right direction. Likewise at the Hong Kong Supermarket on RT 18 in East Brunswick.
