Where Are The Honeydew Melons?

I originally posted this under "General Topics", but was advised I might get more relevant responses here. As of this date, no supermarkets in my area or my local farmers market are carrying Honeydew melons.

I'm not a big melon fan, but do LOVE Honeydew melons. While I've grown them myself in the past (with bumper crops), I didn't this year, so of course they are nowhere to be found elsewhere.

I've checked supermarkets & farmers markets - all are overrun with cantaloupes, which is surprising what with the continuing reports of Listeria outbreaks - but I haven't been able to find even ONE Honeydew.

Is there something going on that I'm not aware of?

I'm sure I saw some at the farm stands while driving back to NoVA from Bethany Beach on Saturday. Those yellow melons (canary melons? Crenshaws? Casabas?) too.

Where are you? Did you try Willey Farms in Townsend, DE?

Morgantown, WV? Baltimore, MD? Big Stone Gap, VA? Dover, DE? Somewhere else in the 4 states covered by this board?

Well, today I have to say that I did come across a very sad, sad & very small lot of Honeydew melons at our local Walmart. None struck my fancy, so I passed them by. But I may have to bite a bullet somewhere, because I have a hunk of Duck Prosciutto that I'm dying to wrap around some Honeydew melon in the very near future.
