Melody Gardot in Concert. Any places near Park West you can recommend?

Happily going to see Melody Gardot next month at Park West. What would be a good place for dinner before the show?

Thanks!

A second for Perennial Virant, easily the best place within a two-block radius.

You shouldn't need to walk all the way down to North Avenue (Adobo Grill). Not that it's all *that* far - a little over half a mile - but there are enough places close by that it's not necessary.

Thanks for the suggestions. A friend recommended Riccardo Trattoria also. I'll have a look at the menus. I appreciate your taking the time to respond.

I ate at Riccardo Trattoria a month or two ago, and frankly I was disappointed - not that it was *awful*, but I had heard it praised, and I just didn't think it was all that great. This after having really great food in half a dozen different Italian dinners in the past 6-9 months, including Piccolo Sogno, Gioco, Campagnola, and a few others. But it is indeed close to Park West.

I am sorry to hear that about Riccardo Trattoria. I have heard such good things about it for so long and I thought about finally trying it one evening.

          Thanks for the contribution.

Gemini Bistro is great and nearby. Other options are Perennial Virant or the place along Wells St (Adobo, etc)
