Arthurs Tavern

Does anyone know what's happening with Arthurs? I knew it had been sold a while back, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference. Now a friend has told me that the Arthurs signs are all down at the Hoboken branch.

I really hope its only that location. I hope the Morris location remains. Decent, inexpensive steaks and the best hamburger I've ever eaten.

The Arthur's in New Brunswick still exists and I go there occasionally for their still excellent onion soup. The balance of the menu has deteriorated. Steaks are more fat and gristle than actual beef, hamburgers and pork chops dry and tasteless,home fries greasy and under seasoned, even their slaw and pickles are so sweet to be cloying.
Best to just remember when Arthur's had a decent cut of meat for a good price and move on.

Hadnt heard about hoboken, but the Emerson Arthurs is now Gregory Ts for a few years. havent been in since it changed, but havent heard anything positive to make me rush over.
