Cusinart Die-Cast vs Magimix Food Processor?

I am registering for my wedding and want to add a nice food processor.

It appears the top choices are:

1) Cusinart Elite Die-Cast
2) Magimix by Robot-Coupe

Could the foodies weigh in on which I should choose?

And what cup size is appropriate for a household kitchen?

Many Thanks!

    diningdallas,

While I am a die hard Cuisinart fan, I think I would go with the Magimix as shown in the second link below since it comes with so many accessories. I don't believe the blades are adjustable as they are with some of the Cuisinarts; I prefer blades of a fixed design. Our original Cuisinart was made by Robot Coup (CFP 5) and is still going strong and the 20 cup model we have is a real work horse. But should it die, I would be sorely tempted to get the Magimix 5200. The first link is for a cookbook (and no, I am not the seller) that I feel is one of the best for a food processor. It is out of print but is pretty good. Ebay has them quite frequently. Good luck.
