  1. I was there for the first time a few weeks ago, I agree they do have a great beer selection! I thought the food was okay, barbecue was good, we had the brisket. I didn't like the chicken and waffles appetizer, it was very greasy and the chicken bits were mostly fried breading. I would not go there for a full meal, but its good bar snacks.
Also we were there on a Wednesday evening and it was fairly empty, curious if they get a good scene on the weekends.

How does it compare to Q in Rye Brook?

Q Barbecue in Port Chester? I think the food at Q is better, more of a meal and more freshly prepared. But BarQ has a nicer atmosphere, a tavern/lodge feel (Q feels a bit cafeteria like), and a much larger beer selection. They also have more choices on the menu but not all are done well. If I'm doing take out or craving classic barbecue I would go to Q in PC, if I want more of a bar scene or a night out with friends I would do BarQ.

Port Chester, of course. Sorry. Thanks for the info.

    2. I posted my utter disappointment for this restaurant. I went for the burnt ends and hush puppies but it wasnt available on a Sat. night after a show at the Palace. I love the concept of a BBQ tapas place but man, did it go wrong on every level - service, food, noise level, professionalism, presentation & cleanliness. I would try the other location though.
