All-Clad SMALL pans

I live alone. I have a gas range and a 1 burner induction "cooktop".

I often find I want a smaller pan. I have a cheap tiny aluminum pan, but I cannot use it on my induction burner, and it's so small that the gas burner ring misses the bottom of the pot entirely.

So, I'm in the market for a new small pan which is induction capable. Maybe more than one pan. I have my eye on an All-Clad 1 QT sauce pan. I plan to heat cans of soup, make small amounts of rice, and maybe make small amounts of sauce in it or maybe melt some butter or chocolate.

That said, the 1QT saucier is on sale at the moment locally for about 2/3 the price of the sauce pan. Some of my applications require a lid (rice making) which, despite being a saucier, I think the pot could handle (with the addition of a lid).

Does anyone know if the all-clad 6" lid will fit the 1 QT saucier?

Any other flaws in my plan?

I recently picked up a 1.5 qt All-Clad saucepan from Cookware and More and really like it. I don't think I would go smaller than 1.5 qt. The 1.5 is on sale right now for a little more than 1/2 off, but seems to be back ordered at this time.
I also have a 3 qt. saucier that I really like. I'm pretty amazed at what a difference the better quality cookware makes in my cooking enjoyment and performance.
I'm sure a quick call to Cookware and More would be helpful in determining if the lid would work out for you.
