Dinner on Saturday
My girlfriend and I decided on a last minute trip to Chicago this weekend. Arriving on Saturday and leaving Monday morning and staying along the Magnificent Mile by the Navy Pier area. I need recommendations for a dinner on Saturday (before a Second City show at 11:00) and brunch on Sunday. I have already made reservations at Sable Kitchen for dinner on Saturday and Publican for brunch on Sunday. I also thought about Sprout for dinner Saturday night as well. Any other places I should consider?
My budget is fairly limited ($100 for two people before drinks and gratuity). I also have a car and willing to drive.

I think your current plan, with dinner at Sable on Saturday and Publican for Sunday brunch, sounds fine. Perfect for your stated budget, too.
Perhaps you meant to ask for suggestions about dinner on Sunday, rather than Saturday?

Well, you haven't really provided much to go on, other than your budget. There are a lot of excellent places within a few minutes walk of your hotel, and Sable is one of them. Here are some more, all open 7 days a week, and within your budget:
GT Fish & Oyster (seafood small plates) - www.gtoyster.com
Uno and Due (deep-dish pizza) - www.unos.com
Pizano's (deep-dish pizza, 864 N State) - www.pizanoschicago.com
The Purple Pig (Mediterranean - but beware of long waits for dinner and they don't take reservations) - www.thepurplepigchicago.com
Quartino (Italian small plates) - www.quartinochicago.com
Cafe Iberico (tapas) - www.cafeiberico.comIf there's anything in particular you're interested in, mention it and we'll try to help!

re: ferret
Pizzas (and the rest of the menu) are good at Quartino's but Q is one of those places I go to because of its value in that location. If you're looking for exceptional pizza and have a car, some places you might want to look into (and all of these concentrate on pizza) are Coalfire, Great Lakes, and Spaccanapoli. None of these, by the way, serve deep-dish.
