Any new places in the past 2 years near Hollywood and Highland
Making my annual pilgrimage and looking for some new places to eat. The only new place I have noticed on this board in Gray's Papaya. I will be returning to some of my favorites: Musso and Frank, the Farmers Market Cafe, Roscoes. Have been to Hungry Cat, Balcones de Peru, Loteria Grill. Thinking about dropping down to Mercantile?
Always looking for someplace new that is easily accessible by the subway, but closer to home base would be best.
It's definitely not new, but one of the cool things about the train lines is that there is a stop right next to Langer's Deli. Hollywood/Highland is right on the Red Line. Langer's is a few stops away at the Wilshire/Alvarado stop.
I know Langer's isn't new, but if you haven't been, it's worth it.
You can easily get downtown or to LIttle Tokyo, too.
