Brunch Near the Hynes?

Swankalicious Aug 15, 2012 06:19 PM

What's good and veg friendly, besides...Towne? I just looked up the 5 Napkin brunch menu and was not enthralled. Help!

Back Bay Social falls a little short for me, espescially if you don't eat meat. I do like Towne but Mistral is probably the best around there (don't miss the cheese plate!). I think Cafeteria has brunch as well, but I can't speak to it.

Hamersley's is not that far and has good veg. options.

I'm not sure it fully qualifies as "veg friendly," but Back Bay Social Club does a very nice brunch.

Abe & Louie's has a good brunch menu and is located quite close to the Hynes. Not a lot of veg options though.

oooh, swank. i'd stay way away from 5napkin given what i've read about it. Brasserie Jo seems to be oft mentioned on CH. Mistralle also>there's even a current/ recent thread for you to check. We like Aquitaine alot but Mistralle's menu looks even better, though more pricey.

I can't open the menu, but I see Brasserie Jo has brunch. Stephanie's on Newbury doesn't get a lot of love, I've always had a good meal there. They have brunch.

Brasserie Jo only has a brunch menu on weekends; they have separate breakfast and lunch menus on weekdays.
