Brunch Near the Hynes?

  • 7

What's good and veg friendly, besides...Towne? I just looked up the 5 Napkin brunch menu and was not enthralled. Help!

  1. I can't open the menu, but I see Brasserie Jo has brunch. Stephanie's on Newbury doesn't get a lot of love, I've always had a good meal there. They have brunch.

Brasserie Jo only has a brunch menu on weekends; they have separate breakfast and lunch menus on weekdays.

    2. oooh, swank. i'd stay way away from 5napkin given what i've read about it. Brasserie Jo seems to be oft mentioned on CH. Mistralle also>there's even a current/ recent thread for you to check. We like Aquitaine alot but Mistralle's menu looks even better, though more pricey.

      1. Abe & Louie's has a good brunch menu and is located quite close to the Hynes. Not a lot of veg options though.

        1. I'm not sure it fully qualifies as "veg friendly," but Back Bay Social Club does a very nice brunch.

          1. Hamersley's is not that far and has good veg. options.

            1. Back Bay Social falls a little short for me, espescially if you don't eat meat. I do like Towne but Mistral is probably the best around there (don't miss the cheese plate!). I think Cafeteria has brunch as well, but I can't speak to it.
