Where to buy violet mustard?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been challenged to find this for a chef friend who has left the city.

There is a large French community in Boerum Hill / Cobble Hill in Brooklyn. If I recall, the restaurants La Petite Provence and Provence En Boite sell some French products. Not positive the selection though. Or maybe even Stinky Cheese?

Ok so as an update: fairway doesn't have nor do whole foods or dean and deluca. Any other ideas in NYC?

Murray's Cheese might. They have a lot of other specialty condiments, so it's worth a shot.

After the jar I bought in Brive was confiscated at CDG, I ordered from Zingerman's and it is indeed, a good product. But I have also seen this mustard at Fairway in the past. It is not as "rare" in NY as it was years ago. Be sure to check the date on the jar, as it does not last forever.
