Has anyone been recently? A search only brings up 5 posts and none of them very recent or informative. We've been to the restaurant a few times in the past and always liked it. We're thinking of going this Saturday night. Would love to hear from anyone who has been recently. Thanks.

  1. We go regularly, it's excellent straightforward italian. Almost fits my "seven ingredients or less" concept of Italian cooking. Sometimes no red sauce at all, sometimes one pasta. We're mostly vegetarian and like all the pastas that meet that limitation, but our guests have always been very pleased with their meat and fish dishes. Ravioli is a standout. Can get noisy after 8pm or so.

      Thanks Davy. From past memories, I'm looking forward to our dinner there this Saturday night. Glad to hear at least someone still thinks it's good. I'll report back.

    2. I just wanted to report back that our meal at I Sodi was excellent this past Saturday evening. From food to service to atmosphere, it was all very good. As I mentioned earlier, we had been to I Sodi a couple of times the first year or so it was open and loved it. We were very happy to see that it was just s good and maybe even better than we remembered. I would venture to say there was not one false note in any of the dishes we had. A few standouts were:
      An antipasti special of tuna, cannelini beans, red onion and olive oil;
      A tomato and mozzarella salad that absolutely defined the word fresh and was out of this world;
      Lasagne Al Sugo Di Carne house made lasagna with with meat sauce;
      Ravioli Burro E Salvia: house made spinach and ricotta ravioli with butter and sage;
      Coniglio In Porchetta: rabbit and pork wrapped in pancetta, roasted with rosemary and garlic

      Unfortunately, I cannot remember our waiter's name as I would love to acknowledge him here. His service was impeccable, friendly and extremely professional.

      Brava/bravo to Chef Sodi and her team: I Sodi is a gem of a restaurant!
