A sister restaurant on the Goldhawk Rd to the Tian Fu on the green next to Westfield.
This one is a more BBQ based restaurant, offering another type of hot pot and some more central Chinese dishes.
We had a selection of skewers of which chicken heart and pork belly were the best. Pretty heavily cumin spiced and fresher than similar one at Manchurian Legends.
Braised pork balls were ok with a good broth, prawn and broccoli was generous and simple. A 'Chinese spaghetti' red beef noodle was good if a little bland.
Had an interesting chat with the manager saying they wanted to offer a different type of menu to the Sichuan heavy other restaurant and that they were mainly having parties of Chinese having skewers and drinking beer.
If you're after BBQ it's worth a try and there were a fair few items on the menu I hadn't seen before. Am also intrigued by the manager describing the hotpot as 'medicinal'...Good luck.
