Spec's is opening a location in my neighborhood (Carrollton/Plano)
Spec's is opening a location on Parker Rd. in the space formerly occupied by Majestic Liquor. I've been to the Plano location at Park and the Tollway and the larger location on 75. Love them! Great selection of beer, wine, and liquor and, as they say in their ads, finer foods to go with. They also give a small discount for cash purchases.

I will admit they are good for the liquor only but for beer and wine there are better selections and service elsewhere. Best beer store in your area would be Lonestar Beverages. Ask for Matt or Rick

Yes, I like Lonestar a lot. They have an amazing selection of international beers, especially for such a small shop, and they're super nice folks. I like Spec's for all the things besides alcohol, too. Olives, capers, crackers, cheese, etc. It's a one-stop shop if you're trying to set up, say, a cocktail and antipasto party in a hurry.
