Game Meat Restaurant in Toronto

My dad's birthday is coming up and he was interested in trying something different for dinner. Any game meat is awesome (muskox, caribou, buffalo, wild boar, ostrich, partridge, kangaroo, emu, camel), and the more exotic the better.

We are driving, so anywhere around Toronto or outside it is fine.
I am looking to pay approximately $100/person or less (table of 5).

I am not considering black hoof because they do not take reservations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Call Beast restaurant and arrange for a whole beast dinner. You pick the animal, and (assuming they can source it) Beast makes a multi-course tasting menu from all the parts of the animal. You can, of course, request that certain parts not make an appearance at your dinner. :)

      1. Stone Grill has game meat too...Ostrich,kangaroo,Wild Boar,Aligator is there on the menu. They even have a combo where you can have 3 meats on it....

          All 3 options sound delicious.

Stone Grill seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks for all your help! I will report back at the end of the month!

EDIT: OOPS! This place has just informed me they are closed for business.
I am going to try Beast. I think Burlington may just be a bit too far for us.

Beast is very flexible as well. I don't want to promise, but they may well just do a special menu for you where you get to try a couple of game meats without doing the whole animal dinner. And the place is fun :)
