Thanksgiving Dinner in Manhattan!

We will be visiting NYK this Thanksgiving 2012 to see the Christmas Parade and celebrate a special birthday. There will be 6 adults and one 7-yr old child. I am trying to find a restaurant in Manhattan that will offer a traditional thanksgiving dinner that evening. Suggestions?

Went to Le Cirque last year-was served an exceptiona traditional meal while friend had fish which was outstanding!

We have Thanksgiving dinner in Manhattan every year. My suggestion is Artisinal. There are always families with young children. They are very accommodating and offer traditional Thanksgiving fixed price along with a non traditional menu.
The cheese fondue appetizer would be fun for the kids too!! It will be within your budget.

Thanks! I just reviewed their website and it looks great. It is too early to book reservations on their site so will try again at a later date. Have signed up for their newsletter.

Let us know if you like it. We go to a different restaurant each year. Artisanal is the only one that would be good for a large group and kids..

About a million choices... really. As time gets closer there will probably be a special tab on Opentable that lists the Thanksgiving choices and gives some details of the menu

It's pretty early to be planning for Thanksgiving. You'll find that most places not in Chinatown will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal if they're open.

The biggest determining factor will be price. What's your budget, per person before tax, tip, wine/drinks? Thanksgiving in Manhattan is typically not cheap.

See example pricing from last year:

Thank you for thie quick response. A food price without beverages and tip of $55 to $75 pp is acceptable. The guide you shared from last year show many within this range. Will watch for this year's listing.
