Live uni at steveston again

Seems like an uni boat is at Steveston most weekends again. I bought some green (4) and purple (2) ones. The purple ones are not in great condition at this time of the year....one was inedible (tiny dark brown roes) and the other was just ok (larger brown roes, not nice yellow ones). The green urchins however were good, sweet albeit rather small roes. Best to wait till the fall for an uni fix if you want large purple ones.
