Peach Crisp/Crumble recipe

katkoehler Aug 13, 2012 05:20 AM

I have some fresh peaches I want to make into a dessert. I am looking for a good crisp/crumble recipe with a substantial topping that crumbles easily and is, of course, delicious. Suggestions? Thanks.

Not exactly a crisp/crumble, but this Peach Shortbread at Smitten Kitchen ..........

Great recipe and something I haven't seen before. Thanks.

My sister made this recipe recently and it was great. Good flavor, not too too sweet. I think I'd prefer the peach layer to be thicker, but making it in a smaller pan might make for too much topping in a piece. I'd vote for double the peach filling next time.

My favorite is Ina Garten's peach raspberry crisp. However I rarely use the raspberries because I usually don't have them and I think the recipe makes way too much topping so I make the whole recipe and freeze half the topping for next time. :)
