Turquoise Restaurant; New location in Great Neck

Ate there a few days ago. Food was okay. Restaurant is pretty: BUT after my husband had finished about half his drink he found 4 fruit flies in it. Granted they don't drink much, but it was slightly gross. The manager must have heardus because when the bill came she said the drink was taken off. She never offered another drink and did not seem to care that much. We told her that maybe a dinner should be free. She said she did not have the authority to do more. When I mentioned the owner was there I was ignored.

I think a new restaurant should go a little out of their way to make customers happy.

  1. Lousy place in the old location so I'm not surprised it would be a lousy place in the new location. Prices were pretty high at the old space, are they higher?

I have lived in Great Neck for 40 years and i never ate in the old place. I certainly won't eat in the new one again. Dinner was over $100 including tip. We had appetizers and main dessert or coffee (which they should have offered). They still have an early bird; but we were too late for that.
