Osaka buffet in Glendale?

  • 3

The one right next to in&out. Has anyone been there yet? just wondering how they compare to the other local buffets like Vegas buffet and Kyoto buffet.

  1. Finally got a chance to finish the circuit. Osaka Seafood is clearly the best of the three and has the best Chinese food in Glendale. However I wouldn't be inclined to go back there unless I happened to be in the area, which is a telling comment on Chinese food in Glendale. Osaka is part of the group that has locations in Hacienda Heights (formerly West Coast Seafood) and Brea, both of which have a good number of authentic Chinese dishes and a large Asian clientele. The Glendale branch is not as authentic, but still has a fair share, and a good sized Asian clientele. Kyoto Seafood (whose other branch is in Santa Clarita) is average at best, though you can get salmon at the teppan grill, which is something I hadn't seen before.

See prior thread for my comments on Vegas Seafood. However given the price differential, I might be inclined to go back to Kyoto before Vegas.
