Luberon - Late summer, restaurants and food shops
I'm going to be spending 8 nights in Murs at the very end of August into Labor Day, and am keen to hear what Chowhounders feel are some of the most wonderful restaurants in the surrounding area (Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, etc.) I think at least half the time I'm just going to shop the markets and cook at home, but we (a group of six) will also want to eat out a couple of times. If there are any particularly special gourmet purveyors of meats, etc., which I should not miss, I'd love to know about those too.
The New York Times highlighted Le Vivier in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue a while back...is that sill somewhere to be recommended? I would be very grateful for any and all suggestions.

Don't miss dinner at Le Petite Cave in Saignon, and a walk through the village is quite pleasant.
The Fri. Marche in Lomarin is not to be missed. Most of the food shopping is out of convenience
done at Leclerc in APT where in particular you'll find a good selection of fish & shellfish and the butchers not bad.For eggs and cheese you'll find good products at the various daily markets
throughout the Luberon. And BO marche just outside APT has an interesting selection of vegtables. The hotel in Venasque has a very delightful terrace avec vue for a pleasant lunch.Bonne journey.
I'll second the recommendation to visit Saignon. We stayed there a few years ago and really enjoyed being in such a small and friendly town. I've always enjoyed Auberge de la Loube in Buoux near Bonnieux, but lately I've read it's taken a slide. I hope that isn't the case.
