Russian restaurant in SFV

I recently read about a Russian restaurant in the SFV (on Ventura Blvd?) but now cannot recall where I read this article. When I viewed the menu it seemed to have a decent amount of Polish food.

In searching I came up with http://www.kalinkateahouse.com/menu.html but I don't think that was the place. Does anyone know of any other place that fits what I am looking for? Thanks.,

No, I wish it was. I appreciate you trying to help me out.

    2. Could it have been Polka, ? That looks to be mostly polish http://www.polkarestaurant.com/

      1. Could this be the place? http://www.yelp.com/biz/russian-dacha... I have often driven past, and meant to try it, but cannot vouch for it. Its Laurel Canyon, not Ventura but it looks really good from the outside - if decor means anything.

        1. There is Barin on Reseda, but it doesn't sound like what you are looking for. http://www.barinrestaurant.com/home

Talisman in North Hollywood is Uzbek/Russian: http://www.facebook.com/talismanla

There also is Dacha in Valley Village. Unfortunately, I can't read the online menu. http://www.russiandacha.net/

Rasputin is a small Russian market in Encino with a nice deli counter.

I also know of Tbilisi, which is a deli on Ventura in Encino, but I don't think their menu is online.
