Sense Appeal - food?

peppermint pate Aug 9, 2012 07:00 AM

I've been to Sense Appeal a couple of times now for a coffee en route to one of my clients. Both times I've been there, they've been cooking up a storm with a handful of interesting sounding and looking lunch dishes. Has anyone eaten there? Any good? Thanks.

I actually just tried their food last week; it was pretty good! I think I got the Catalan beef salad? From what I remember, the beef was well cooked with a nice sauce, green peppers and zucchini and it was on a bed of brown rice with a standard greens mix under everything. Worth trying - I thought it was a bit pricey and weird at first when I opened my takeout container but liked it enough that I'd go again and try something else.

ive tried a few of their salads - not cheap - but worth it considering size, quality of ingrediants and taste. However a few times that Ive gone in - they either havent gotten around to making them or have been sold out....so be prepared to have an alternative in mind.

your question prompted me to return today....they have new format since I was last there - salads/sandwiches are made to order (vs being pre-made). Tried the "Summer Salad" - beets/nuts/goat cheese/quinoa/heirloom tomatoes/apples/peaches/greens and other veggies. Also comes with a fresh roll. $14.50 with tax. Very large portion. Delicious.

I haven't had a bad thing there, ever. I'm not exaggerating. It's not cheap, but it's delicious. I've had gour or five different salads, the burger, and a couple of other items. I recommend.

Thanks everyone - sounds promising! I'm going to give this place a try next time I'm in the area.
