Chocolate Cream Filled Donuts on the Westside

Penelope08 Aug 8, 2012 08:23 AM

Every now and then I have a craving for chocolate cream filled donuts. Not the vanilla cream filled with the chocolate on top, but chocolate cream filled. And it seems very difficult to find. Stan's version is too dense and not whipped cream-y enough. Krispy Kreme only has it as a special flavor every now and then, and Primo's, Royal Donuts don't seem to have it either.

Has anyone by chance come across this seemingly rare donut specimen? Because after checking the message board and yelp, this seems to be the equivalent of trying to find a rare bird.

Thanks for your help!

Check Bob's at the 3rd Street permanent Farmers Market: http://www.farmersmarketla.com/direct...

I don't think Bob's has them. I go there often and have only seen jelly or custard filled donuts. Try donut hut in burbank. I can sometimes get Vanilla cream filled there, and that's super hard to find as well.

Not donuts but Beard Papa does chocolate cream filled cream puffs in Hollywood and West LA if that will cure your fix?
