Does anyone have a list of stores that sell Amy's pies, besides the Thomaston Grocery? Are there any restaurants or lobster pounds that serve them?

I think that "Fresh Off The Farm" in Rockport also has them, at least sometimes. We always get ours at Thomaston Grocery because they will put one aside for us, and that's also where we get our fresh-ground chuck for burgers. And our Maine Crabmeat. And our "State of Maine Sharp Cheddar'. And our Shain's of Maine ice cream. And our "Fox Family of Maine" potato chips. And our Labadee's of Maine Whoopie Pies. And our.......................

Found this as a phone number for Amy's Pies. 207) 354-0917

There was a fresh batch at Thomaston Grocery today. Hurry before Walmart takes over Thomaston. Then we'll be getting our Pies and our Crabmeat, Cheese, Ice Cream and Whoopie Pies from China. (And I'm not talking about China, Maine.)

Not if you don't shop at Wal-Mart. Just say no.

Just experienced our first Amy's Raspberry Pie today. Holy smokes, that woman can bake a pie! All-berry filling and none of that gelatin or tapioca thickening or filler. A real old fashioned homebaked pie if there ever was one. Heard someone in the store complaining about the $16 price tag. I'd like to see that person try to make a living selling pies plump full of fresh native fruit at a price anywhere near this! This pie was not too sweet, the subtle tartness of the berries was not overpowered and the taste is of berries, not sugar. The crust was clearly work of a master pie-baker, just perfection...and even better when heated up and served with a dollop of the Shain's vanilla ice cream. I think that Amy takes the prize for me, even better than "Pie in the Sky" bakery in Cape Neddick, and at about half the price per pie. Today's other selections were Apple, Cherry, Blueberry Crumb, Strawberry Rhubarb, Peach and Mixed Berry. Hope to try one of these others soon and will report back. I wish we could find a place that serves Amy's Pie by the slice so that it would be easier to try more varieties.

Apparently Amy doesn't sell as many pies once the tourists leave town, so she has time to bake some other goodies in the fall. Today we saw Blueberry Muffins in the bakery case at Thomaston Grocery. Also Chocolate Pound Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting and some individually sized Cheesecakes. Got a muffin and it was chock-full of blueberries. Also saw a Raspberry-Rhubarb Pie and a Blueberry-Rhubarb pie, both looked GOOD, with a bit of the filling bubbling over and cracking through the top crust. !

Bumping this for the 2013 season...

Does anyone have additional current sources of Amy's pies, especially places that might serve them by the slice?

It just boggles me that there's no website for this business.
