  1. In my opinion there is not a good Italian Restaurant in the Lakes Region. Our best restaurants are designed to make everyone happy. Which side of the lake will you be on?

We'll be staying on the Meredith side.

I noticed that Lexpatti recommended Abondantes in Meredith on another thread, but they no longer have a web site. Have they closed?

    2. What about Italian Farmhouse in Plymouth? Yea or Nay?

Italian Farmhouse is owned by the Common Man family of restaurants. They also own Lago in Meredith. I've eaten at both (and most of their other locations) and enjoyed the food at both restaurants. For ambiance, I enjoy Italian Farmhouse more. It really is in an old farmhouse and just has that rustic feel to it. But Lago is also a good option, and it's right in Meredith with gorgeous views of the lake. Check out the menus at Both are also reasonably priced.

      2. Try O's in lake port area of Laconia. We tried the cowboy aka bone in serloin, the filet and Zupa De P Fra Diablo. All were worth it. Steak and Italian.
