Sadly, the north bay's only yucatec restaurant appears to be finito. Its tough row to hoe for restauranteurs these days. Support your local eateries, they may not survive if you wait.

    Sad news, indeed!

    I hadn't been there in a while.

    There's still Ranch Viejo in Sonoma for Yucatan food.

    Best visit soon to help them survive too.

      Rancho Viejo got a shout out in The Bohemian, along with other places along what it dubs the Taco Trail on Hwy 12.

      I stopped by Rinconcito Yucateco today and it is open!

      I asked if it had changed owners and/or closed a couple months ago. The lady said that there was a problem in the kitchen that required them to closer briefly for some repairs. There nothing in the restaurant inspection record from that period so perhaps not health department related.
