Jimmys No. 43 worth a visit
Just wanted to give a shoutout re this basement "gastropub" on E. 7th - husband enjoyed the interesting draft beers (reasonable price for imperials) and we liked the food as well - a BIG small plate of shisito peppers, a tasty simple kale saute, a nicely put together and garnished cheese plate and a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon (tho the bacon overwhelmed the cheese it was still a tasty eat) Everything was flavorful and the prices reasonable. Someone with talent is manning this tiny kitchen.
an adjoining table was enjoying a tasting of five of the draft selections and plates sampling the various small plates offering - I did wonder why they brought out all the beers at once to those folks, but hey
