All-Clad d5 Brushed Stainless 11 inch French Skillet w/Lid dont have new flared rim???

i just got All-Clad d5 Brushed Stainless 11 inch French Skillet w/Lid online recently , and the description says "New flared rim allows for precise drip-free pouring around the entire perimeter of the vessel" and the photo looks nice too,but when i get it , the rim just looks like SS , it dont have "the new flared rim" can anybody tell me what is going on ??? really confuse me now

i just asking AC about the pan..........and this is what they tell me "I showed product management your photo and they confirmed it is the correct pan. They also informed me the "rolled lip for easy pouring" was not an accurate spec. This has since been removed."

You probably got an old model. All-Clad has been updating its line, and the older pots and pans have been showing up on line at bargain prices. If you paid full price for this, send it back and ask for a new model.

I have a feeling that the French skillet is the exception for the flared rim. alv1112002 can take a closer look at the skillet and see if it is d5 or the classical. The d5 has a rounder handle and has the size marking at the bottom of the pan.

In addition, if the pan is brushed, then it is likely to be d5. I don't remember the classic has any exterior brushed version.
