Dinner spot for large group in town for a wedding

mcmullek Aug 5, 2012 03:09 PM

Hello all,

Did a search but the 2 group dining posts had 0 responses - here's hoping I get a couple!

Looking for a somewhat central spot for casual group dining. The majority of people wil be staying in a hotel off of I-35 & 71.

We'll have 20-30 and we'll be paying individually (or in groups of 4) so I don't want to rent a large room per se.

Cuisine is wide open besides Tex-Mex (Maudies is catering the rehearsal dinner) and BBQ (Salt Lick for dinner at the wedding).

I've got an inquiry to Home Slice if they could accomodate a large group, but am otherwise out of ideas...The "Search Nearby" for restaurants on Google Maps was frightening!

Thanks in advance!

Catfish Parlor on 71, if you like fried seafood.

Thanks so much! Majority of my family will be coming via Baltimore, so squeezing in some good seafood is always a good idea.

Timbuktu in I believe Glenn Bernie is a great crab cake spot. Anyway it depends on your price point and how casual you want it to be. If you are up for a downtown location Moonshine would be nice.
