Stand mixer

I've finally replaced my very old, very dead KitchenAid stand mixer. The old mixer was stored in a cabinet in the garage. The new mixer is pushed to the back of a deep countertop. Looks great, but it's so hard to move. Is there anything like a slider I could put it on that would let me pull it to the front of the counter easily?

Could you put it onto a tray with sides and a smooth bottom that you could grab to pull it out? We keep ours in a hall closet and I certainly know I get a work out every time I fetch it.
