Deer/Lamb Tendon?

Is anyone aware of a place that serves deer or lamb tendon (prepared in any way) in the DC area? Or more generally, an alternative to beef or pork tendon? I'm rather wary of eating cow or pig connective tissue. Thanks!

Cedar in DC serves a tea smoked venison tenderloin that is fantastic.

I believe the tendon is usually removed during tenderloin preparation, is it not? But that dish bears investigation in its own right:) Thanks! Sadly, I'm beginning to suspect that non-beef tendon is only available in pet food or in China.
