One night in Nola
My husband and daughter and I decided to stop by NOLA for a night on our way back from vacation. We know we want a Poboy for lunch - Johnny's or Mahoney's??? - but for dinner we aren't sure. The problem is, my husband only has shorts to wear. So with that limitation, what are your suggestions?

I'd choose Johnny's. It's less expensive and the shrimp po-boy is a little better. Mahoney's is good but we had a large po-boy, a small po-boy, fries and onion rings, 2 soft drinks and it was right at $50. I had the chicken liver po-boy which was really good, hubby had the shrimp and I thought Johnny's shrimp was better buy a little bit. We've only had the shrimp and the oyster po-boys at Johnny's and the shrimp is the way to go.
Can you eat at Domenica in shorts? We're going to try it week after next for the happy hour 1/2 price pizza.

You can problably get into just about any restaurant you want, excluding 2 or 3 which have been named here on several proper attire threads. There were shorts in Restaurant August at lunch when we were there and I think most restaurants have eased any regulations during the slow hot season. If he has a nice collard shirt you should be fine.
