Large group of 40 Teen friendly dining area in Manhattan?

for about 35 -40 teens. We are planning a party bus trip to Manhattan for my daughters sweet sixteen party. we would like to make a stop for dinner in the city but not sure which restaurant might be able to accomodate such a large group of teens with a reasonable price . budget around $15 to $30 per person. figured most of the teens would want to get back on the party bus right after dinner so we are not looking to make the dinner stop a long stop. appreciate any ideas ?.

If it's a Thursday and the weather is nice, Id say try the Hester Street Nights at the Eventi on 28th and 6th. It's an open air food market. Definitely in your budget and with a variety of vendors so they can choose what they want.

Thanks to all for your feedback. Eating at the part might be an option as I'd prefer to stay away from eating on the bus if possible for obvious reason. There will be sodas, water and snacks on the bus. I am not familiar with both Bryant and Madison sq park, so I might take a drive down there prior to the event . so please feel free to continue to share any additional ideas you may have .. some addition info, The event will be a weekday (wed or thurs) and plan to stop for food around 8pm.

Another possibility, especially if your bus will be travelling through Downtown: pizzas from any of the excellent pizzerias, both Neapolitan and New York-style, in the Village. Fairly certain you'll be able to call ahead for those.

I wonder whether, with advanced notice, Shake Shack could provide their teen-friendly burgers and fries to eat on the bus, or in Madison Sq. Park. Or maybe Schnipper's, a good Shake Shack alternative, which also has a location near Madison Sq. Park.

Indeed: buy a few dozen Shack Burgers and eat on the bus or sit out in Madison Sq Park, or Bryant Sq Park if you're near the Times Sq Shake Shack.

They also sell wine for the chaperones, in case you feel the desire [I know I certainly would if herding teens through Manhattan].
