Chef cooking series at Keller Library
I can not recommend this series more highly. Last night Chef Frank Brigsten prepared a three course meal, with wine, all for $25. On the menu: andouille calas with creole mustard sauce, shrimp etouffe, rice, ratatouille and banana bread pudding. All delicious, but having 3 hours with Chef Brigsten's sharing of cooking techniques, life stories and other thoughts was the true value here. The maximum number of guests was set at 10, so it truly felt like a communal experience. The coordinators of the event were incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. A pleasure in every way.
