O Bairradino

O Bairradino on Lansdowne is my 'go to' place. Seems they are still closed for holidays.

I don't speak Portuguese to understand the message on their answering service.

Question is: Where do I go now for same food at the same quality and price??

Please suggest as I'm having a house full of people over tomorrow and churassco chicken and some breaded sole was on my menu.

My go to has always been St Matthews near Keele and Rogers. Costa Verde is my second, and in a pinch I've gone to Sardinha Rei Dos Frangos near Ossington station (not a fan of the olives in the rice).

I think the best place is Estrela on Keele. Fabulous chicken, rice, potatoes and olives. A little more expensive but not a whole lot.

Costa Verde on Oakwood has a great rep but I didn't think it was all that great.

The takeout at Costa Verde has always been good (for me).
However, the dine-in just doesn't cut it! Still can't figure out why.

Good to see Costa Verde and Estrela are open on Sunday nights (until 6 pm for Estrela, and until 7 pm form Costa Verde) The churrasco places in London, ON are closed on Sundays.
