Paul Qui restaurant

Chronicle says Paul Qui will have a restaurant at 2310 South Lamar. Is that in the condos being built across the street from Alamo?

I heard they're going to tear down most or all of that strip mall. Highball, at least, will get a new slot in the same center. Not sure what they'll do with Alamo - facelift probably.

The restaurant won't be in that mall, though. It's on the other side of the street.

The plan for that shopping center has been put on hold & may not happen at all. Developer had some money problems.

I remember seeing the plans for the condos across the street back in 2005 (they were taking subcontractor bids). That was also put on hold several times - long enough for them to even lease out that trailer food court for 2 years in the meantime.

No, it's a green strip and it will be where La Casita and Electra used to be. It's going to be a brick and mortar version of East Side Kings. Qui's own restaurant will be on East 6th.
