Need help choosing restaurants in Mississauga or Etobicoke.
I am planning an executive board meeting at the new Alt Hotel at Pearson and need to plan two dinners for approx. 15 people.
I am totally unfamiliar with Mississauga and Etobicoke and need some recommendations for one high end dinner and one medium price point dinner. The food & wine list have to be great and an really nice atmosphere. Perfer a restuarant as close to Pearson as possible.
Please and thank you
There are several excellent restaurants in this area so just depends on the type of food you are looking for. Zorro's is an excellent Steak and Seafood restaurant just minutes from the airport area in Mississauga. They prepare Caesar Salad right in front of you and it is the best Caesar Salad in town. Within 10 to 15 minutes, we have several options available to you. Please give me a call and I will be more than happy to assist you.

Is there a particular cuisine that is preferred? I always recommend The Grand Chinese restaurant in the Double Tree Hotel for a solid medium to high'er' end dinner and lunch. It's very tasty, service is quick and efficient, and presentation is always done nicely.
There are a few other restaurants along the 427 highway but they do require some travel time. Via Allegro (at the bottom of the 427 and probably 20 minutes drive) is another solid restaurant. It is a typical Italian menu but executed fairly well. It is getting a bit dated but I still find the food quantity, quality, and service good to very good.
If you want a stand-out experience for a high end dinner, I would highly recommend Sushi Kaji. It's along the Queensway in Etobicoke. It is my absolute favourite for high end Asian dining. Succulent pieces of fish and extremely well executed dishes.
As for your moderate to higher end price, there's a restaurant I went to in a corporate event. It's a restaurant and culinary teaching location. We had a great time and the food was fairly good. The cuisine is mediterrean and they focus on having good steaks. It's called Oregano by Cirillio. It's in Etobicoke just east of the 427 on Dundas.
