there was a 10 Downing Street restaurant on Sixth Ave in Downtown SD back in the 70's. Can't imagine this is what you're talking about, but if it is, it's long since closed. However, the restaurant's 10 Downing logo remains imbedded in the sidewalk in front of the original entrance to this day.

IIRC, Paul Dobson was the GM, and bought the place and called it Dobsons.

But I am old, and I'm forgetful.
