Billiards/Darts & Decent Food?

Trying to rack my brain- is there anywhere in San Diego (reasonably close to Carmel Valley but willing to go downtown or up to encinitas/leucadia) that has both games (darts/billiards/etc) and good food that's not just crappy pub grub?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

  1. I have lived in San Diego 13 years, and I cannot remember the last time (if any time) I've seen a dart board. As far as billiard joints go, I do not know of any that have any food that goes beyond crappy pub grub. In fact, I can't recall too many places that even have a passable tap list and billiard tables.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I think you've found yet another dead zone in San Diego. There are bars with both billiards and darts, but not with good food.

    1. Cass Street Bar & Grill in PB has pool tables, shuffleboard and better-than-average food for a bar. Not sure about darts, but I don't think so.

      1. Hamilton's has billiards, shuffleboard, excellent taps, and pretty decent food. Best to go during the week when it's less crowded in order to be able to actually navigate around the pool tables.

I also like the beer and bar food at Regal Beagle, which has a dart board.
