Tara Commons Nashua,NH WholeFoods maybe?
Driving by the other night I noticed the sign where all that new contsruction is, mentioning
something about a neighborhood something or other. Wasn't able to get any more info, as we weren't stopped at the light there, just wizzing by.
Just wondered if maybe that might be where WF might be going. Anyone know what the main reason is for that section of construction?

I heard a rumor a few months back that Shaw's was holding onto the lease in the Merrimack plaza that is mostly empty (where Silver Maple was) but it is running out and they might sell that property. It would be big enough for a WF. Actually there are several places in Merrimack including along Continental Blvd that could be developed also. I guess we will have to wait and see. I thought with Trader Joe's expanding they would be anxious to get in the area.

The WF site no longer lists Nashua, NH as a store in development. This may be due to the fact no address has been found. I never heard them going in the Somerset Plaza near MB, I think we have way too many MBs on Amherst St. I had heard there was a chance of them going in the old Building 19 which would make sense because it used to be an incredible grocery store. It is also stand alone with lots of parking. They are still carving out space near the Merrimack Premium Outlets so I don't know if they may be considering that area.

Thanks, now that looks great. Stumped though with the "3 entry points from DW". Trying to visulize where along DW is enough space for it, without tearing something else down. Another thought to ponder. Especially with the mention of Spitbrook. Just went back and read it again, 3A is now throwing in another curveball. Ideas anyone? Isn't 3A mostly Hudson?

Does anyone know what's going into where the strip mall burned down in Amherst a couple of years ago. I noticed construction going on there after visiting the new Trader Joe's yesterday and wondered whether that could be the spot for Whole Foods since the lot is big enough and it could be a stand alone location?

Back in 2006 they signed a lease for that new development that never happened back behind Old Navy on DW Hgwy.
They post quarterly telcon reports on their website listing where they have opened stores and where they have signed leases....can't find anything recent on Nashua.

re: rizzo0904
Its a MB! I just found out today while in the area and stopped at that MB. Needed
help with an item so a manager was called. He was very helpful. We got to chatting and he mentioned I'd like it better in the new store! Which turned out to be the old Kmart/Sears. It isn't a secret amongst the staff, as when checking out I mentioned the new store and the young man bagging said it would be nice.
They are thinking it will be sometime in the Spring of 2013. That may become my new favorite MB, right now I like the Nashua/Amherst one better MB, I was told owns that plaza. Not sure if I should have started a new thread, but if so I'm sure the powers that be will move it to its own. One more place to rule out WF.

I don't think there is enough room there for parking and the store. The website says it will have two office type spots, a bank, and then it has other room. My guess is they want restaurants and shops since it's supposed to be a neighborhood place. I believe they will be building townhomes/condos/apts adjacent to it.
