Good brown rice sushi? Preferably a place that does some some creative ones without raw fish?

My party includes someone too young to eat raw fish. Ideas?

Also try Shogun in Yorkville. They have good veg sides too, and for comfort food I like their veg donburi with brown rice.

I second Rikishi. Lots of good vegetarian options - not just cucumber. The mountain vegetable handroll is exceptional.

Noted. I can't readily find a menu online so helps to have ideas.

Hosu Bistro offers brown-rice sushi, and offers plenty of rolls stuffed with crabstick, vegetables and/or deep-fried seafood. http://www.hosu.ca/menus.html

Thanks--those are both great ideas. Will definitely try to get to both.

Rikishi on Bloor, just east of Ossington, has an extensive veg menu, brown rice, and decent fish, too. At Rikishi, I'd recommend that all of your diners try some items from the veg options, not just the young one!
